April 29th 2011, the Royal Wedding, H.R.H. Prince William and Kate Middleton, will get married, at noon, at the Westminster Abbey, in London.

Dress code: uniform, morning coat or lounge suit.

Who can explain how to get dressed better than my father, Mariano??

He is wearing a morning coat: light weight medium grey worsted wool harringbone tail coat, prince of wales light weight trouser, linen ecru’ with piquet piping five buttons waistcoat, popeline white shirt, silk tie and colored silk pochette, bringing hat and gloves.

All the outfit is hand made and fully bespoke.

Thanks To Madame Figaro France, I had the pleasure of being mentioned this week in Lapo Elkann’s article.

Lapo has an incredible sense of Style, he doesn’t like fashion, he loves all different expects of style.

I’m really close to his philosophy, free, cool with a sense of happiness and color. Every time we cacth up in my shop in Milan, we love to talk about crazy fabrics and how to pull them off in the best way, and believe me, he really can !!!

In this picture he his doing a fitting of a Blue Cotton Drill Smoking (Tuxedo) double brested, pach pocket, navy blue grosgrain silk lapel.

Thanks to The Financial Times website, i found these very inspiring pictures of Nick Foulkes, one of my favorite stylish man and devoted fun of Rubinacci .

I think Nick is one of the first ” friend costumer” of my father Mariano in London, he loves to spend time in our shop in Mount Street looking at the new Vintage fabrics from Naples, chating and drinking some Neapoletan coffee .

I have to say that most of the time we have fun thinking who is going to be the first to make the last vintage fabric jacket , sometimes i think to my self: ” It’s better that I start making this jacket for me before Nick sees it!”

I always get inspired from the way he dresses, casual absolutely not fitted with a twist of color that few people can afford. This is the beautiful world of bespoke, everyone can built their proper style, without thinking what is in or out at the moment !!!

In the first picture Nick is wearing a Vintage tweed jacket, in the second a very light blue linen and in the third one a light weight violet curdroy for summer, all made from Rubinacci.

The fabric has the appearance of antique linen or raw silk and is available only in its natural color, ecru.

In the coming months the fabric will be available in extremely limited quantities.

At the moment,  Rubinacci  have the opportunity of working with this fabulous fiber, exclusively for their costumers !!
