It’s very hard to meet my father, always around between our Branch in Naples, Milan, Rome and London.
I’ve accidentally found this picture in our records and I’ve immediately thought of the blog!
A brown linen jacket, completely unlined, with double stitching, a pair of light wool grey trousers and a baby blue linen shirt!
I do remember very well this outfit!!
Welcome on board Dad !!

Good colors combination. When will your online shop be open? Looking forward to be your first www client.
BTW Luca, which shirt did you wear at Rio beach back in January (http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/2010/01/at-rio-fashionluca-rubinacci-rio-de.html)? Made by Rubinacci?

Ciao Rafi,
The online shop will be open in September, i can’t wait have it done !!!!
That picture is fantastic as same as it’s fantastic the Brasil !!!! … all what i wear is Rubinacci, sometime RTW and sometime Bespocke, in that case i wear a bespocke vintage shirt, i found that material in our stock in Naples, where we have more than 60.000 mt of fabrics !!! You can imagine !!!!!
In our shops, that summer, i made the same kind of pattern for RTW shirt, and are available in London, Naples, Milan or Rome.
Yours
L. R.

It’s nice to see Sr. Rubinacci finally on this site. His taste in dress is matched with an unbelievable charm and timeless class. I am honored to be a client and wish only the best to Luca with his new venture.

This photo of Sr. Rubinacci reminds me so much of my father that a tear came to my eye. His generation (born in the 20′s) were always well dressed, usually with english style clothing -influenced by Edward, Prince of Wales- and, of course Hollywood (Cary Grant, Astaire)and foreign films. He never went out without a sportsjacket, even in summer when it would be of linen, never appeared out of his bedroom unshaven or without a robe. In the office he would NEVER remove his suit jacket, even in Summer when the air conditioning broke down! Impeccable shoes, a closet of over 300-400 ties! pocket squares, etc. etc. Inspiration. Your clothes are beautiful, I await the online store with much anticipation of treasures. Buona Fortuna!

Is that two pocket squares together? Give me your opinion. We have been making pocket squares attached to a insert card to save men time and frustration.
Do you think there is any future in this concept.
