Even Rubinacci’s ties are handcrafted. Each item is carefully cut from a square piece of fabric and split in two diagonally, to be finished by hand.
The fabrics, selected amongst the finest, are the essence of this accessory, which needs no introductions.
Keeping ancient sartorial traditions alive, all ties are unlined, so as to make them lighter, softer and more natural, and so as to best use the fine silks with which they are often made.
The hems are carefully handcrafted for the utmost flexibility, without stiff constrictions in detriment of the natural beauty of each fabric. The width is designed according to each customer’s build, usually with a “narrow” finish that varies between 7 and 8.5 cm.
The knit ties are made using traditional techniques. In wool, cotton or silk, these ties exude retro charm and are evocative of boarding school elegance.
